Smit Orchards is first and foremost a grower and producer of fine organic and conventionally grown fruit. Smit Orchards is a family owned and operated 160 acre farm located in Linden, CA in the Central Valley.
We came from farming and remain in farming. Besides our own farm, we have extensive relationships with local farms and farmers both in Southern California and in the Central Valley. We “grow it and know it” inside and out. We sell our delicious fresh fruit at well known and reputable Farmers’ Markets such as the San Francisco Ferry Plaza Market , the Berkeley Farmers’ Markets , the Hillcrest Farmers Market in San Diego, the Pacific Paliscades Farmers’ Market in Los Angeles, and many others.
